This is confirmed by a inside source aka a mole in and around the execs. This person is looking to cash out ALL stock grants and move onto a legit E&P. This person has info that 95% layoffs when buyout compete.
Hey guys (and gals too)! Word out there is Range Resources is in the hunt for our acreage. They will buy us and layoff everyone but a few lease operators. Go check your network. I have and my resume is updated. Get your resume up to snuff cause layoffs are around the corner.
My guess CHK will purchase SWN and few if any transferred.

Anti-fake news. Whoever said this deal is not possible knows nothing about the PA market. Betting it is some flunky who has staked their entire career own Southwest Energy. What a fool. This is a 2 buck stock and if the BOD thinks it can grow it to 3 dollars wahoo. My job is safe cause I am in the know. The rest of you are always considered for a layoff.
Fake news. Olympus has only drilled like 15-20 wells. They could have sold their acreage years ago. Why do it now when PUDS are worth nothing in deals that are all based on PDP in the market.
