I'm curious if Rory Mcllroy got rif'd. Optum constantly talks about cost savings... How vital is this "ambassador" to healthcare? Optics and profit are obviously more important than value to the actual customer. Rory do you have any humanity? Clearly Optum nor United healthcare does not.

He's doing marketing/propaganda/advertizing for the corporation for free? No stock options? No luxury plane trips? Deluxe hotel accomdations? food, etc.etc..? other forms of compensation/benies?
He's doing it for the love of a publically traded stock shareholder company that he really believes in? How altruistic of him....
Rory has never been an actual employee, this is a brand/awareness building relationship, that’s it.
How american—They lay off hard working people, while luxury coaches pull up w/ corporate marketing all over the place with elitist bicycle clowns, then the layed off workers parade past with their card board boxes filled with cat mugs, family pics, and company certificates that dont mean jack bleep. Nothing will change. The imbeciles will keep paying their massive copays, deductables, etc..etc...as they get used and abused by the USA. Onward and downward.
Your post reminds me of the time years ago, when there was a massive "cost saving" layoff on the same day the bicycle team visited the office. Giant buses and trailers (with UHG corporate branding), expensive bikes, swag all over the place. Meanwhile, the laid off people were schlepping their boxes out past it all. Ouch.
Maybe the corporation can help give some insight into hiring this "celeb" marketer/sales schtick person while they layoff hard working and dedicated folks off? Or more company propaganda and "news" blasts?
I left last year, did not know they now had Ambassador. WOW, interesting how Dave Wichmann justified that just so he could hang out with Rory. Let me guess Dave likes to play golf???
