If you aren't happy at West / Intrado....QUIT. Stop spending time posting here and spend more time reading, educating, learning, applying for new jobs and get out of here. We don't need the negative types here any longer. You know the drill and who we are owned / controlled by. If you don't like it, LEAVE! It's the same people stalking this space over and over and then talking about it offline. Get a life, get a different job and get out of our way. Make sure to update us when they lay you off too. (Unless you're in the higher up ranks and you're just upset that people keep exposing West/Intrado out for being the absolute joke of a company they are.)
The person who posted this is probably the “dress up and show up” type; someone who thinks their life is their job, like they own a part in the company. The sad thing is, no matter how dedicated they appear, they’re disposable and replaceable at the drop of a hat. So you go on doing your working-trooper chant, answering emails on vacation, kissing a– so people “stay out of your way”(rolls eyes).
My co worker got cut so people have the right to be scared.

The real problem at Intrado is you have people that love what they do and love working here are people here but executives don’t treat us like we should be treated and when they give instructions it’s with one hand on the hip. They think they are better than everyone and don’t treat everyone the same.
I find this post rude af! First off we’re in a pandemic, finding a job isn’t easy. Secondly, if you’re not overseas or in or around NY we are all eventually getting laid off. So I would say STAY! Ride the wave so you can get some type of severance package or unemployment. Intrado is going automated, the writing is on the wall! We’re just guinea pigs right now but don’t shoot yourself in your foot!

I think this is funny. I agree with the following statements - not everyone has a skill set to easily find a new job and many of us like what we are doing. I just look to see what is going on. I know there were TX folks let go a week ago, and there will probably be more things happening if they have another fine or something.
The real problem is there are people here who love the work and love the company but execs are running it into the ground.
