Las Vegas layoffs

So no one heard they just up and closed the Las Vegas office with 0 notice. Whole staff slashed. Mostly tier 3 and cruise sales

I hate to ask but can someone please elaborate on how this happened? Did they pull everyone off the phones and tell everyone that the entire building is being shut down? Was it the entire building including the market manager group and level 3 or just cruises? What exactly did they say to everyone ? Where did they ?

Did they give a pay out or severance package? Was it good?

I work in one of the east coast office. Can someone confirm if this really happened in Las Vegas? I was considering putting in a transfer to move to cruise dept in Vegas.
