I've been trying the entire 11 months I've been furloughed to recreate them for the family, but it's proving to be harder than getting a Union Rep to answer a question.
I’d say no. They need to cut expenses. Feeding and entertaining furloughed employees is not essential.
I attended the last family day and I really bonded with some managers. We became closer than I knew two men could become. I encourage you to show up and give your managers a chance. They want to do the right thing.
