My job at Brigham & Womens hospital was eliminated this month due to “COVID-19 emergency cost measures”. I’m wondering how many other people lost their jobs at Brigham & Womens hospital these past few months due to the pandemic; a trend which has not been publicized. I understand the necessity due to decreased hospital income coupled with skyrocketing expenses, but am curious about the extent of this unreported additional price of COVID.
