Left ExxonMobil almost 2 months ago, got an excellent job in my field of technical specialty in just 2 weeks (thank God all my years in ExxonMobil I stayed technical and never had desire to be a manager, knowing in ExxonMobil, the famous equation is: "SLS=Secretary".
At my new job, no repetitious safety meetings, no unnecessary meetings, no bulls**t like NLI LPO LPSA QI and the hoard of ridiculous acronyms (never saw a company that loves silly 3 and 4 letter acronyms like ExxonMobil).
At my new job, 97% time is spent in doing technical work that is enriching, satisfying and how it should be. My new employer gets 97% of my time for technical work for which I was hired.
The insane system at ExxonMobil with useless meetings and garbage stuff like LPO LPSA NLI QI and the rest of garbage and the fear of politics and back stabbing k–led my productivity and overall resulted in low productivity.
The more good ideas I gave, the worse my ranking became.
Glad to be out.
