Does anyone know the next round of Sears & Kmart Closures? Since the previous round concluded I would assume there is another round of closure on the Horizon maybe the Kmarts in Avenel and Westwood are on the next list? Please Let me know!

Sears in Salinas, CA was the last closing announcement (around July 13) and also the last liquidating store to close (last Sunday).
I would guess that everything is in a state of TBD due to COVID.
Certainly overdue. The last 4 "large" lists were announced in June 2020, Feb. 2020, Nov. 2019, Sep. 2019. They were usually about 2-4 Months apart. We haven't had major closing announcements since June (and those were mostly just the Seritage closures). So not sure why we have gone almost 4 Months without getting the next list. This is fairly unprecedented to have this much gap between lists.
Those who know are in loss prevention. They are running the operation now. K mart lp is on the ground ready to strap up.... spagetti arms, big bellys and 2 packs of Newport c-gare–es.......
I'll say it in a more polite manner than some other people on here, but essentially, your guess is as good as ours, No one really knows when the next/final round of store closings will happen. All we can hope is that it will be sooner rather than later so the question doesn't have to keep getting asked.
Costa mesa kmart has no Halloween. None! No sign of xmas either. Haven't seen the long beach kmart. Wonder if they have any seasonal merch.
Salinas and Hayward are the only liquidating stores still listed on the Sears store locator, so it appears that all of the other liquidating Sears stores have already closed.
Kmart hasn't bothered to remove any of its recently liquidated stores from its locator.
The next round of permanent closures is occuring this Sunday (Salinas and Hayward for example).
Yeah we all know but decided to keep it ourselves until someone posted asking about it. This site gets worse
No tax breaks but information suggests it has to do with aliens and area 51
I for one hope the Westwood Kmart survives the next round! But seriously, with this very long drawn out slow liquidation of the entire company, I am starting to wonder if there might be some kind of financial advantage for Mr. Lampert to keep it going as long as possible. Like tax incentives or something.
Here we go again with the same post.
Hows the inventory......got any xmas
