It sure would have been nice if it was made clear in the severance package if we are qualified for Profit Sharing and ESOP. I know if you are employed on 9/30 your are supposed to be but since we are marked "inactive" how are we effective? We are still employed so I would think we qualify. This is so nebulous. Maybe they did that on purpose. Anyone have any definitive answer?

The layoff was done in a way to avoid making profit sharing payments to the laid-off employees.
I don't have an answer. Wish I did. But I did notice in the package that it said while we aren't allowed to work through the 15th, we would still be expected to help out if we are contacted for any reason, including phone calls etc. To me, that sounds like we should be more than inactive.
