I think Land as a whole went down hill when TA came aboard, then getting rid of a highly regarded intelligent with an abundant experience on Land Director; to replace him with KH?? Who has no knowledge what so ever in a Land Leadership role, and who still to this day lacks Land knowledge. And she took credit for all the hard work that our previous Director did....really this department has been unfortunately descant to go down HILL from there!
Seriously, who did not think That this would have been an issue???
We all know she feels threatened by the personal of the previous Director, that is way she chose the ones who were laid off. Knowledge is out the door so no one can call her out for being dauntless on Land issues.

What makes you think we were laid off?
You laid off guys are pathetic; MRO definitely made the right picks this round.
If one is annoyed "hear[ing] about" the land department (or more correctly, reading about the land department), the sensible solution is to quit spending time on The Layoff, rather than discouraging others from writing about the land department. Why ought those who care about the land department modify their behavior to satisfy those who don't care?
People relate to larger organizations (MRO) through the particular relationship with their individual department and department leadership. Does is matter if MRO is a great company as a whole if one's own supervisor is dishonest, incompetent or oppressive? Bad leadership in a particular department means that the employees in that department experience the company as a whole as a bad experience. And that is certainly a legit topic for The Layoff.
It doesn't matter much to me whether termites exist out in the world, but it matters a great deal to me if they inhabit my own foundation. And whether the poster cares to acknowledge it or not, the land department is the foundation of a successful domestic E&P company. The reduced activity in today's economic climate may cover a number of deficiencies in the foundation, but once the economy turns around the cracks will begin to show.
Quite frankly, these post about the land group are extremely annoying. We get it, you don’t like your leader ship, but stop taking up so much space on this message board because no one really cares about your specific group and how terrible your leader ship is. If it’s that bad, leave the group are even better, I’ll leave the company. Either way, we don’t care to continuously hear about it.
whoaaaa.... some serious word spaghetti by GTOa!
