Hi I recently learned we can use sick leave instead of PTOs, and sick leaves will not compensated unless you’re over 55 and been with Boeing for 10 yrs. it’s great for those big rocks been with Boeing for so long, terrible for us the little new rocks. Does any1 knows if we can use sick leaves for up to 2 weeks consecutively?

Boeing moving to SC makes perfect sense! Non-Union = better workers = better quality = quantity.... All the lazy fat fawks that like abusing the system...FIRED!
This is actually a really good question. For the admin jobs, Sick Leave is a part of your earned compensation and if you are under 10 years of service you use it or lose it. Back in March Boeing changed the rule allowing you to use SL in lieu of PTO.
You may take up to 5 days of continuous SL before triggering SL Disability. So you would need to go back to work 1 day before taking your next 5 days. And it is pretty hard to not have a valid reason to use it.... taking days off for "Mental Health" is acceptable.
Thank you for your insight, Mr. Manager!
To the dumb–s that suggested to use sick days since you are getting laid off anyways, if his manager is an a–hole and catches him misusing sick days, he can then fire him with cause and then he gets zero severance.
For newer employees with less than one year, getting fire with cause means that they need to repay relocation money.
Come on with these dumb–s questions. Give it a rest man.
Just use it. What are they gonna do, get rid of you? Oh wait!
Ooo Ooo, I have a question
While on a ILO, if I’m filing my nails and injure myself
Can I file a work comp Claim?
Email that question to your HR rep
