Just announced: 1,200 employees will be permanently laid-off in November from the Swan and Dolphin Resorts at Walt Disney World. I am one of them. Why? There is no business, as tourists are staying away by the tens of thousands, and there are NO conferences and conventions scheduled. This is truly like the end of the world for Orlando.

Who are the id–ts that think unemployment lasts for a year? How uninformed can you actually be?
Chapek you’re ruining peoples lives! I hope one day you feel what its like to go thru this. Give up your lobster lunches and bring us people that actually work back.
Collect unemployment for a year and enjoy the break then get rehired again when things bounce back.
