What about Grass Valley and Long Beach? Are they listed in error too?

Someone pointed out to me that I made a mistake in my below reply. My bad. I was wrong, I mixed the 2 stores up by mistake. But still, BBL is not closing. And Costa Mesa, which someone in another thread mentioned is closing,

OK, I contacted the realtor on this site for Big Bear Lake Kmart:

They wrote back to me that the store is not closing. They are merely leasing 4 stores in that shopping center adjacent to Kmart. From that site "Anchored by Kmart
Home to Big Bear Mountain Resorts with over 6,000,000 visitors per year
Four shop spaces totaling 5,805 SF in the adjacent building next to Kmart".

Further, that store is currently hiring a store manager:

folks they will close any store someone else wants the real estate. I some cases the landlord will pay them to leave

Although the JLL page for Orange, CA says "Sears Auto Center", it includes two photos of the main Sears store there, so I think it's not just the auto center that is for lease.

Correction to the headline someone used to post this article: the stores are for lease, not for sale.
