Hoping for retrenchment package If SOP1 shut down indefinitely. I don’t see any future here.
SOP1 will not start up after turnaround due to low market demand. When China one start up will make Singapore situations worse. If CRISP not making good profit , another round of PIP/layoff will come.
Don’t need to wait for 2 years la… Mother of all crashes have arrived. Some companies already started restructuring and laying off. We shall see 1 or 2 Q 2025.

My department at chemical plant has this technical engineer who is so useless. Based on his performance the past few years and the number of medical leaves he had taken, I am amazed at how he was not asked to leave yet. The fact that he got his master in NUS makes me think that it must be a life hack for these people to get their master in local universities and then work in Singapore.

KLTC = Kuala Lumpur Training Center ? Whatever happen to site not needing to take care of KLTC’s competency level? I am wasting so much time cleaning up their mess, when I could have spent much less time and effort doing the work myself.
