Boeing laid off almost 6000 on 7/31/2020, another 668 will happen on 8/28/2020, and 940 on 10/2/2020. These are permanent according to the Washington state WARN site. I understand Boeing is also taking applications for two upcoming voluntary layoffs this year. And this is just the Washington state Boeing manufacturing area. No telling what is going on at other US and International sites. Yes, I would think there will be additional layoffs in GE Aviation this year at their supply chain and assembly sites.

Wilmington NC announced yesterday they are laying off 36 hourly. Third time this year. Sad times.
