Bro, the fact that you even chose to go by this one link to come to the conclusion that you have posted in itself shows you are still young in corporate world. Let's have some serious conversation. People like us try to advice management on ways to manage cost so that layoffs can be prevented and cash can be reinvested into the business in building platforms. All of us totally understand the great role that our support functions play. But our question is about the number of people in these functions (finance, accounting, HR, overhead etc.) in US for a small/medium company like ours and the Management's decision to hire for these roles even during corona. You will be astounded to see the headcount in these departments to hire, report and manage the costs and revenue for a company our size. Our suggestion is that you keep it to the bare minimum / optimum level so that you can use that money to build products and platforms for the company's growth. If we don't manage costs well we will be come uncompetitive compared to our peers. We need to distinguish between expenditure vs investment
No CEO sticks around in this company for longer than a few months. They are on their third one in the last 3 years. That says more about the state of affairs than a PR release which is a copy of many other companies.
