Paradigm has fired all its employees in Israel and Latin America. LATAM is where most of its revenues are coming from. That’s the condition Jim Nyquist from S&S insisted before the business moves to S&S. Dumb move. This business will die quickly if it is not already dead. Having Steve Santy from COMRES head paradigm was a big mistake. Firing the Israelis sealed their fate. What a dumbo. $500m goes down the drain.

I venture to guess that paradigm will disappear in 3 years, like Roxar software disappeared.
A leopard cannot change its spot.
All software companies bought by Emerson were, are or will be destroyed. Emerson is a hardware manufacturer. That’s who Emerson is.
ESI will be destroyed because long time Emerson exec has taken over running the business. He will ruin the business. All of ESI management have left.
Agreed, ESI is well respected in the industry, US and Internationally. Why do you think ESI will be destroyed?
Sad. ESI is a well respected brand in the midstream space.
Emerson is about to destroy ESI, the best software for midstream.
Emerson is a mergers and acquisitions company. They do not have the leadership or management in the good ol' boy organization to organically grow anything. They find companies with good ideas, buy them, milk them for whatever profit they can, then sell them.
They should sell these software companies they acquire so that the employees of these companies have a future.
Farr admitted that Emerson is good at hardware manufacturing. Emerson does not sell or service the hardware they manufacturers. Farr is president of North America manufacturers association. That tells you the dna of the company is manufacturing.
Emerson is a hardware company and should stay that way. They don’t have a freaking idea how to run a software business. They k–led one of the upstream software business when they bought Roxar. They are now on track to destroy the few software companies that they acquired including paradigm.
