What was the training required for them to give shots? Also, did they get a raise?
There are 2 techs in my store that are now certified to give flu shots. (Rhode Island)
I mean this might help.. And it'd give a reason to actually give some tech hours.
But as far as I know this is more a state issue than it is anything else.
If they do something wrong is the pharmacist going to have a problem.
They just passed a law in Indiana that techs can do shots. Not sure about how training is going to go but it seems to be headed this way.
