Most Stable Part of the Industry At A Major Oil Company- Midstream, Upstream, Downstream?

Just wondering what you guys think is the most stable part (less frequent layoffs) of a company at a major oil and gas company- Shell, Exxon, Chevron, BP Etc

Depending on your role, midstream and downstream. If by stability you mean job security, then midstream depending on role
