A guy with a dirty cloth came in for a few minutes to deep clean after they suspected covid in STL..
These labs are packed for hours shoulder to shoulder no mask wearing- what do they expect?

I don’t disagree that reporting violations are a good idea in principle, but the reality is that managers are well aware of the violations and choose to do nothing in response. Bottom line: it’s not up to the employees to ensure that the work site is in compliance with county guidelines and safe conditions are maintained. That is the responsibility of the management. And they are knowingly failing in that responsibility.
From looking at the internal website, you ain't lying that STL is high. Highest site in the company.
You can bag on management for not enforcing the mandate. And you have some credence with that.
But what it really comes down to is that YOUR UNION BROTHERS AND SISTERS don't really give a c-ap about those around them. There is an element of personal responsibility here and I know people on unions are not very good at that, but you have to try.
You should report violations to management, but you should also report them to your union steward. After all, unions were founded to make work places safe and if they won't address their own members when they don't follow the safety rules.. hypocrisy anyone?
yeah its bad. Management just says do your work- its all safe to come in. Of course they are in their offices and the door is shut! Yeah I guess its safe for you guys!
for stl you can send violations report of covid to the following link..

maybe then we will get some help.
Only 1 call to the health dept or OSHA may not qualify. I encourage others to make the call too and spread the news for others to call in too in order to get the attention out there for this matter.
This isnt right. They tell us our option is to quit. Where are our worker rights?
Are we back to the 1930's when we had no rights?
Either go to work in unsafe environments or quit? We need some actual leadership!
I was thinking either the health department or OSHA. Management definetely says 1 thing and then looks the other way. As long as the schedule is met- that is all they care about.
It probably running wild already. There have been lots of cases documented on the internal coronavirus website and those are just the ones that have been confirmed through testing. There will be many cases that won’t get confirmed because some people have mild or no symptoms. Or because people refuse to get tested when they’re having symptoms. So the infection spreads without showing up in the numbers. I think you are right that St Louis is dropping the ball on infection control. People without masks or who wear them below their nose aren’t sent home like they are supposed to be when they refuse to get on board. I’ve heard people talk about calling the health department. Might as well. The unions are mostly asleep on this and the management allows violations to continue.
