Guys, none of us is "enjoying US life" as you are putting it. Most of us are paid modest compensation and have a single income family considering that our spouses are unable to work due to visa restriction. It is a struggle for us too. Your focus should be on support functions (Finance, Accounting, HR, Admn, IT) that have added many people locally in US on permanent job positions even during the time of Corona and thereby maintaining a bloated structure. Our Company should operate with extremely lean staff in these functions and take our India team's help to get things done using the global delivery model that we are selling our clients on GRC. We should practice what we preach. Learn from other large IT companies that maintain the barest minimum headcount in US, UK support functions. Why not have at least contract based staff in these roles so that we can have some flexibility? If I am the CEO, that's what I would do by asking the heads of these functions to justify the US headcount in these departments. Your statement that we are "enjoying US life" is not true bro. That's the truth.

Better to fight for bringing resources back to India who are not part of revenue generation. There are about 10 resources, their entire work can be executed from India. Each one is making $130,000 per annum average. With each one's salary metricstream can recruit 5 resources in India with RS. 20,000,00 per annum. All these days these resources enjoying US life because of their managers support. If still metricstream continues them in US and terminate employees in India then there is no God can help metricstream.
Talk to each resource manager and understand if they are mandatory required to be in US so that company can escape from any layoffs.
