I've been listening to their company values for years and it is nothing more than marketing BS. Do not trust any executive. I'm looking forward to VCPPs reaction when they discover they are about to get screwed.

The two annual layoffs truly did stress me out for years. In top of that, the Indian/political atmosphere drove things more in a maddening direction. I’m not sure if VMW can truly adhere to any value system when the culture acts in opposition to them. like most employees, we try to remain optimistic, hoping that change is around the corner but to only find a dismissal letter.
Every company lays off people with the big difference of vmware doing that in secret (even though it is well known) and on regular basis without fail. In fact, I am considering to leave myself simply because of the annual anxiety hoping I am not next. I am always surprised when they show anniversaries on company meetings - my first thought always is 'as if that is my choice' - As I say - other companies firing people too but it seems it is more about low hanging fruit rather than random. I never understand in the point of laying of people and almost immediately re-hiring - sometimes the same people they fired. Surely that makes financially no sense.
Sad VMware employees are always looking for another job or networking. Regular layoffs is a normal thing.
VCPP = VMware Cloud Provider Program, what used to be called the vCloud Air Network many years ago.
I agree with the OP here. It's all BS. I want out.
Sounds like a typical manager ethical level from VMware. It is a toxic driven company. Managers are eager to kiss the feet of their managers chain.
