Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

It was only a year ago when....

Boeing employees openly laughed and mocked at anyone who suggested the future was full of anything but Rainbows and Unicorns.
Fast forward to now, when an Aerospace Engineering degree, or Aerospace Technician degree is about as useful as a weekend course in retail salesmanship.

COVID was not forseen, but COVID was only the cover for what was coming anyway, which many saw because they don't have Rainbows and Unicorns glasses on.
Think it's bad now?
In 6 months you'll look back on these as the Good Ol' Days.

The virus only highlighted the fact that Boeing wasn't the prime employer as it's reputation claimed it to be.

The Know-It-Alls at every level of the company, from the machinists - to the techs - to the engineers, and more so from the first-levels of management - to the mid-level manager - to the Executive Leader, are the true downfall of Boeing.

I’m going to print this one and use it to wipe. And yes, OP, I’ll be thinking of you.

You have to be young and completely ignorant of aviation history if you think that the good times always roll.

Recovery is "K" shaped. 6 months from now, y'all going to be in real bad shape. But 6 months from now, Dow Jones will be over 30,000 resulting in other group of folks thriving exponentially in this economy. I would hate to be you guys!!!

In 6 months, most people will have been recalled from their layoff and things will be mostly back to normal
