And how many have been called back? Are there available numbers?

A good friend of mine worked at Halliburton for more than 30 years. He always thought his job was safe because he worked in computer operations. I mentioned several times over the years that he should try diversify his job skills to protect himself. It was also brought up that Halliburton could outsource his job to India in a matter of seconds. He got released and was out on the street due to outsourcing (India). In his early 60s, he will never be back in track in life. Take some time to continually update and diversify your job skills into closely-related, timeless careers. Don’t be a Halliburton victim, as they do not care about you or your family. Don’t trust Halliburton.
Why do you care? It been like two month now where the blood bath happened. About half of the employees and contractors are gone.
I was (amongst the other 1k from north belt) furloughed and laid off as soon as the furlough period was over.
