Rumored that LN is retiring. Story is that SM directed her to develop the legal position to eliminate severance when RIF takes place. SM stated that Oracle and IBM lay off employees with no compensation and wants TDC to do the same. Story is that LN refused to comply and she was asked to submit her resignation. Cover story is that she did not want to move to San Diego so she desired to retire.

LN has been retiring for years. Never intended to move to SD. Probably just hanging around for the Golden parachute.

If you think for one minute a C-level person gives a damn about anyone's severance, you need to get your head examined.
Oracle gave out severance in 2019 after layoffs.
Also, it's not a rumor, it has been announced that she is retiring.
