Everyone who is mad at VH, get over it. Too late. She is a puppet now. You should have been mad at her in May 2019 when she announced Oxy was buying APC. Going behind shareholders' back to overpay was the exact reason it was a bad idea. Should have protested VH then. Get used to wage cuts, benefits cut, and drum roll... no bonus. We are oxy dummies.
Uncle Warren just showed everyone what he thinks of the company. Oxy is on it's death bed.
Sell the common stock short and ride it down to under $10
You wont get a bonus so this way you get something out of this terrible company
The problem has always been the fact that the salaries were - and still are - too high.
Vicky is my friend and she is very nice. I hope to get a raise soon.
Oxy retiree with a suggestion:
Employees - Organized a "We're Sick Of Vicki!" walk-out, and continue calling in sick until Chazen, Buffett, and Icahn ban her from Greenway.
God it is so embarrassing. Articles are all over the internet about the dumpster fire that oxy currently is. How does senior management still have jobs?
The first responder must be a non-technical middle manager who is getting high off VH's farts.
The fact that someone is saying "just wait till Q3" is exactly why Oxy will fail faster than we expect.

Performance is due to Q2 commodity prices. Wait for Q3 where margins will be more favorable and events may happen to improve the situation.
