Sorry for all that lost their jobs but we must move on. We are here because we have value and the company realized we were mission critical.
Everything is quite now and we are moderately moving onward and upward. Best of luck to all (who are still here and the ones gone).

iCruise keeps breaking drilling records!!
So screw you!
listen to yourself when you bashing a company that provided you with so many years of work. Dogging it won't get your job back. It's the man sitting while watching others work. I'm sure you that are posting here where the guys sitting.
First day of new beginning after 47 years of getting a steady check... but all is good.. wishing the best to all my former co workers at Carrollton location !!
"We are here because we have value." How rude! How crude! Who gets laid off at Halliburton is never a measure of an employee's worth. Rather, it's a gut reaction to plunging stock prices and panicked attempts to salvage the company (and the lucrative jobs of upper management). For those who have been laid off, don't ever forget that your knowledge, your skills and your devotion to your job is what made the company marketable! The company's slow decline is a result of breathtakingly poor decision making by Halliburton management over the last 20 odd years, the shortsightedness of the oil and gas industry along with a violent push by Covid-19. For those of you who are young enough, forget about the oil and gas industry and retrain yourselves for the future. Oil and gas is a dying industry. I wish you all the best.
Plants closing, outsourcing to India, accenture instead of IT and Landmark. What the f— are you smoking ? Seems to me that Halliburton is on downhill mode and shrinking. If you are happy because you stayed behind you will be sorry. The real winners are those who left or got laid off with a package. Those people will move on and succeed. You an the other hand will have to put up with more downturns every couple of years. In the meantime, no focal points, no raises, no CV bonuses.
“We were mission critical”
You do realize HAL d–g tests, right?
Is that D–k Cheney eating your dingo, boy?
Good luck to you too when your time comes... and it will be soon. You should be posting your positive thoughts elsewhere, dipsht.
The only thing behind you is the Halliburton downhole shaft
Yup, just heard that Carrollton is shutting down! Move on to the next job!
I didn’t get this memo when I was laid off in 2015 and was in the middle of a project. I was rehired a year later and survived the May layoffs.
My thoughts is that no one is safe here.
WTF is iCruise? I see a bunch of you people whining about iCruise, 95% of the employees that work here don’t even know what you are talking about. Maybe that’s the problem. But either way no one cares about that because it’s 1 product in a portfolio of 2,000. If you worked on iCruise get over it your product s—ed. But 95% of the rest of us don’t care.
Mission critical? I suppose that’s why virtually all of the original design engineers for icruise are gone! Sounds more like a$& kissers stayed, while good employees were let go, or were smart enough to leave.
UH OH......

"the company realized we were mission critical"..............What have you been smoking?!
You are delusional if you think the company gives two flips about you. They are outsourcing jobs to overseas slave labor as we speak.
You lost, I won. I got a job within 3 weeks after the layoff and increased my salary with a better company and far better management, so the severance check was a nice bonus check that went into savings. All the while, you are still stuck at that Hell-hole wishing you were somewhere else. It really s—s to be you at a company with no future.
Easy fella, dont miss the step getting off that high horse of yours.
Keep telling yourself that. There will always be downturns in oil and gas.
Let’s look to the sun lit uplands of tomorrow
You have hit the nail on the head
