That was the only way he would leave without rezi stick. Rushing. At the time we had also issues with the CFO
Paying him off to leave was the only solution.
Needless to say, He won't need to work for a few years
All the people he promoted are still there though and active saying they are saving rezi with the new CTO...

Confirmed.... guy is getting screwed already by comfort people (software / hardware / marketing) and security is already laughing openly
Nobody wants to be involved and actually are waiting for this 3rd CTO to go away on his own.
People that had their 1-1 already think the guy actively avoids any conflict, and is afraid of it . So the game will be to says yes to him knowing he won't use the stick for real, and keep spinning, a tactic that worked before.

HDG is a master at politics with underlings doing the same, but CTO believes all is well. Security is going to mess with him even more ... fun times.
There is a game where people put in $5 with dates by which the guy will quit, winner takes all. Nothing above 11 months , average 6, some early as end of year, and replaced by one of his directs. One name keeps coming up for that. Nobody believes he will fire any management and he better not trust anyone promoted by either the former CTO or brought in by moobs....
Confirmed based on week one meetings reports . CTO doesn't get what's going on. Already snowed by BS masters that still worship the former CTO and the gaming wannabe CTO. He doesn't have the courage to clean house
We are so screwed . The townhall will be laughable, but shhh let him believe he will make it, blind snowed and gullible
@3qta - SHaddy is not in a position to claim victory for anything except being a complicit in creating the mess that we are in. There is nothing that he has touched that has any record of success and if the new leadership spent any time looking into his career failures they would remove him before he does any more damage.

Titan has been going on for 3 years, nothing to show. Yet the Melville redneck sees himself as innovator. Took credit for things that other people did the work on. Architecture is a complete joke. Just an excuse to blow hot air and collect coin. How can this place go on without producing anything that sold well since 2016? Yeah, anybody with a brain was forced out by former CTO. Before spin he removed anyone who was onto his lack of qualifications and skills and surrounded himself with yes men who are now raking in the coin. Whole engineering director level and PMO should be wiped. A magic eight ball can do a better job than the redneck innovator.

Let's take one example : in the past 2 years at least architecture totally collapsed. Everyone with a brain ran off, and nothing came out... including the flagship of Melville : Titan.
Pathetic. Phony. Let's remember engineering architecture vetted for Edgar all those crazy acquisitions like buoy... we lost literally million on a product we can't really sell

Guys the team reporting to the 2 past CTO has mastered the art of b—s— and blowing smoke... the same is expected to happen to the new CTO.
Meanwhile everybody is taking in $ waiting for the Q4 payoff
Don't forget the head of the fellow office. this organization need to be rebuilt from scratch.
Instead of focusing on management , should focus on the lack of engineering innovation... we have at least 3 fellows who spend their time talking BS and also playing little games. At least 2 are useless and were responsible for the most senior fellow quitting rezi ...
They just play and take in the cash....
