Can y'all just take this conversation over to the Walgreens subreddit? I think there would be a lot more engagement lol.

Also to the OP/author of the post: this post isn't very helpful without specifics.

So if you just had a meeting about Big Cuts, wouldn't you know if store leadership was impacted and when they were being impacted??? This seems like generic post with just an opinion. Guessing cuts will happen isn't hard to do but having actual info about said cuts- that's the important part.

Not sure if or when any store leadership positions. But, if you look at other retailers like Walmart, they have reduced management positions, recoded, etc in the last couple of years. So, given the bad shape Walgreens is in, I can't see how they won't make changes in the future.

Will the employees that be cut be compensated with some type of insurance servants pay whether you're making less than a top manager IO GS meaning of regular Walgreens Distribution manager or will you just be notified to look for something else? Doing this time That we are going through in the United States with this COV19. jobs are not easy to find what will happen to people who are going to retired soon will they be asked to retire early Or will they be able to stay until they retirement age if it's like two or three years later when is this going to begin to happen respectful thing is to give a person a notice of termination before you guys decide to start cutting from the top to the bottom is it true that Walgreens Distribution Center wants to make all the distribution centers part-time and use only temporary employees so that they can cut the budget cut which is called zero budget the zero budget is to spend less money as possible so people with insurance or 401K out on medical leave disability leaves is all this costing the company great money so if you hire temps you can bring them and take them in and out as you please without any obligations of 401k Insurance are medical benefits of benefits from the company maybe this is your real plan all I ask as an employee of Walgreens that I think a great deal of and was proud to work for the company as many years as i have been there I think it's fair that we be warned not just hear rumors here and there but be professional about it and give the employees a heads up so they can find something else and not just kicked out because their position is no longer needed.
