Lies nothing but lies!!!!

This was recently posted on SeaPort, but yet if you look all parks keep posting jobs on their careers page. Stop the lies and just be honest, this company is a joke.

Ambassadors –

Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time. We want to give you an update on the status of park staffing. At this time, our parks are fully staffed for our current days of operation capacity needs. While we believe that the demand will increase in the future, we do not currently have any way of predicting the timeline for increased staffing needs. We realize this time is challenging for our teams, especially for those remaining on furlough.

As an important reminder, furloughed Ambassadors will be contacted directly by the Human Resources team if/when their position is needed to staff the park. Ambassadors should NOT reach out to their direct Supervisor or Manager regarding their status. Park Leaders are not able to respond to each Ambassador, and must focus on running the parks. We appreciate your understanding on this subject.

In my department in Busch Gardens, they only brought back white people to fill roles of supervisors and managers. Our leaders kept minorities only as assistant supervisors and below. The percentage of minorities in leadership has dropped dramatically. I wonder if this is company wide?

If you are still on furlough you will not be called back. HR has been outsourced to another company. BGT took down all the pictures of team members with more than 20 yrs service (hall of fame wall in HR). Looking at some of the people who have not been called back I would say you all need to get together and file a discrimination lawsuit. Over 50, minorities, women etc. Hire attorney now! Do it as a group!!!

( In FL) some full-time people in our shop are still on furlough yet there is full-time job listings for our shop. There should be a law against hiring new people while you still have employees on furlough.

Senior leadership first need FAQs to answer questions otherwise they dont know how to have a conversation with someone who is not management. Certain Senior Leader only cares about his fun benefits.... Also they will let everyone go right before the holiday season to ensure we the furloughed employees dont get free tickets for 2021.

  1. HR represents the company. You won’t learn a thing by calling them. Trust me I tried.
  2. Read by the lines. We are done. No jobs for us. They are replacing us with cheaper and younger labor.
  3. If you think you are being discriminated against. Call the Compliance Number so the service can investigate. I did.
  4. The SW that we all knew when we started our jobs is gone and never coming back.
  5. All we can do now is tell our friends, neighbors how horrible SW is.
  6. And move on to a place that will appreciate us

This seems to just address the park ambassadors. What about those in “corporate” positions (non-park side) that are still furloughed? Where’s that update?

5 pages of current job postings across the enterprise but they say they don't need anymore people currently. This is a new low even for this management crew.

Before anyone comes and posts saying "zomg you should go apply elsewhere and quit pining for this company!" Just save it. We are and we can still laugh at the ridiculousness of what the management is doing now (they no longer are deserving of the term leadership. Leadership doesn't do stuff like this)

My department has a couple of friends still on furlough. If we are fully staffed then why did we just hire a new employee. Lying is and has been company policy for a long time and is why I have chosen to never advance beyond a pair of hands.
