Some good observations. In addition to accounting, finance, HR, visa, quality departments in US please also look at pre-sales function also to trim down and execute from economical locations. The existing leadership in all these support functions cannot take this hard call because of personal relationships. . This is the place where our new CEO should step in and the CFO should set an example. The company cannot be sacrificed because we have to forcibly retain people in functions that do not contribute to revenue or growth. They should be given time as per industry norms to find jobs elsewhere so that our company can be nimble

Who cares, MetricStream run teams with relations between managers and resources and politics. You can be director or VP and can work from US or UK even their projects failed badly, be puppet to your boss and it doesn't concern you generate revenue or not.

Most importantly please look at the total number of people in the US overhead team who do not get billed. Now that people are working from home, why can't the job of finance, accounting hr, admin, be done by the Metricstream India team? This would release millions of dollars that can be invested in product development and sales & marketing and will give cash to the company to prevent layoff in the engineering teams. Large companies such as wipro, infosys, cognizant, hcl are particular that not even a single non revenue generating employee should be sitting outside of India unless there's a strong justification, which should be approved by a panel and not just based on one individual's discretion.
