The managers/supervisors set targets for PIP'ed employees which are unachievable within the 3 months. They just wash their hands off without guidance and supervision as if they are not responsible for the result, as the ultimate objective is to get rid of the employee being PIP'ed. If they are capable, led by example and provide guidance and directions for the employees affected on how to get them achieved. Aren't these are what a manager or supervisor supposed to do? If the employees failed to meet these targets, shouldn't the manager or supervisor be held accountable and be put into PIP as well? Why only the employees are responsible for this? If the employee can meet these targets by themselves without the manager or supervisor, why do we need them here? Remove them first!
Well said, @1ofw+16hlF0Yo.
