New CEO is MIA for employees and in the press. Doesnt seem he gets Operations and our business. More layoffs, leadership seems paralyzed by guessing what is happening. Lots of chaos and seems like leaders are trying to keep jobs and that CEO doesnt care about us. Lots of talk about his people who are rude, unprofffesional and hard to work with. If CEO doesnt care why should we?

Goeckler needs to be replaced.
Goeckeler interview was bad. Repeated himself and showed little confidence in future
Engineering team feels unmotivated and many planning to leave. Lack of clear strategy. Lots of talk and little action other than good people leaving. Makes me sad to see
His team from cisco is a nightmare to work with. Doesn’t matter what team it is, across the company Culture and trust is broken.
Check out his joke on Facebook with his own logo on his lapel? He doesn’t seem to care about WD only self promotion. Stumbles on earning calls and doesn’t ever share anything that helps us to understand company direction and areas of focus. Communications externally are almost nothing and when they happen he is vague and lacks clear focus for company. No wonder we are getting our butts kicked.
CEO is just shy a little. He gets paid with nice bonuses and looking to retire in a couple years. Employees are the last thing on his mind.
