Anyone else get notice of meeting with HR? Rumors of layoffs. Wondering if I am next.

Yes you can sportfish with HR for your amusement. However if you have stayed with GED so far there might be something wrong
file a s-xual harassment complaint before the meeting
Don't show up to it. Maybe hide in a bathroom stall, if you're not up for a little tumble down the stairs?
Are there more GED in Roanoke or Charlottesville - thinking Roanoke was pretty small (never made it over there)
Which location had the layoffs? Roanake or San Ramon?

Somewhat surprised it is happening already.
I got bumped in April. Had a 15 minute meeting with my manager. HR was not included but my HR manager had four 15 minute back-to-back meetings starting at the same time.
The meeting started with a pre-written script. Then “Hi, I’m your new HR manager, nice to meet you. You’re getting payed off”
Sorry for the bad news, but a nondescript meeting request with HR is generally a good sign that the ax is falling.
