We had some real good construction guys let go. I knew most of them for the 27 years i have been here. There was no reason to lay them off except money. A union wouldn't have stopped that either. This company doesn't care about anything but the bottom dollar. Ask as many people as you want that work here this question... "Do you enjoy coming to work and doing your job?" I bet you wouldn't get one yes no matter how many people you asked. Now that's pretty sad. Okay now you guys will say , if you don't like it leave. Believe me I would but there is nothing out there now and I'm just riding it out as long as I can.
The union is the reason you guys are getting laid off. The slugs win!

Lot of damage & no one to fix it
When it's all said and done, I'm going to be around 50k for 4 months of sitting around, while you guys slave away. Ohhh, and I'm good on my mortgage, trust me. Always wanted out of this b—s— company. It's going to be really bad when it's your time and you didn't reap the benefits that we were given. Good luck, you're all going to need it.
Unemployment and severance and $600 weekly. Should be no problem paying mortgage.
I will say, im glad not to be dealing with this . Glad i got a new job, you guys stay safe. Especially my friends from Hauppage . Lots of damage out there. Remember family first
