I agree with you. Rather than paying bonuses to employees, I would like to see $0.40 dividend per quarter.

@3trp+16gztiC0,
I think Juniper must stop paying bonuses and use the money for share buybacks. They can easily buy 12M shares and dump it and boot stock price by 4% every year.

All good people who can find better jobs already left. People who are with Juniper are the one wh can't find jobs outside, they won't leave even if Juniper stops paying bonuses until they are fired.

Junipers's core investments and acquisitions didn't enable any revenue growth. If they stop paying a dividend, you see Juniper stock performing $10. So, juniper must stop bonuses, fire most of the US employees and hire in India for R&D and give the money to share holders.

Any layoffs announced? Any impact to groups which are irrelevant?

They could have generated the cash, must there is no more cash left for any future share buybacks? They should stop paying either dividends or bonus. Not sure, how they are givinng pay rises and RSU with little netincome generated?

This is really suprising. Assuming Juniper's payroll per year $2B and 15% average bonus payout (normalizing for all grades), the first half budget allocation is $120M ($2B * .15 * .8 * 0.5).

Dividends paid is $120M. Total $240M. From where Juniper generated this much cash this year?
