Sorry if this has been covered already. But what's going on with all the moves to Everettt? A lot of senior and newer folks have been sent up there at random and on short notice. Is this some kind of strategic move for layoffs or what?

Well, I know this is hard to follow, but your new-downgraded job code was not surplussed as bad if at all. It all is based on job code then seniority, they dont move you to a job you never had because you have seniority,
Yep, I got 2 down grade reclassification notices dated 07/17 one for Auburn (where I worked) and the other for Everett. Had until 07/31 to move or sign a lay-off. The one for Everett dropped on 07/27 but was dated 07/17. I only had 6+ years in the company however, people that were in my same (downgraded) job code that were hired in 2019 were unaffected..WTF?
If you actually work at Boeing, you would see see that teams lost half of their workers Friday night. You would know Everett has twice the amount of workers than in Renton.
Therefore, more workers are needed in Everett to support more programs than Renton.
I meant rate of 737 max
IAM and speea layoffs have nothing to do with location you all know that who work here except for the trolls who come to this site.
Rate is not going beyond 4-5 a/ps amonth for atleast till end of next year 2021.
Renton has way too many people for the work available.
Yes it has something to do with layoffs but that is less than 10% of the issue. Real reason is what i explained above
One came to my team last night I hope he’s not a indicator of what’s coming I can already tell he is an a–,
