Merry-Go-Round Leadership in McKesson - A company of constant Re-Orgs

There it is again- another rushed re-org in progress by the McKesson clueless executive leadership…until they hire some vested interest consulting firm to identify a few scapegoats in a few months to start another re-org round!

The on-going McK IT re-org is a joke…it is egoistic and self-serving; guaranteed for failure and another re-org. The leadership asked everyone to be open & honest and a few of those who followed it and worked hard got the pink slips! Nice cleanup work.

Executive leaderships screws-it up, takes a great severance package, and moves onto the next corporate America!

Poor employees are suffering through all these. Many go through 1 or 2 reporting structure changes in a year! There is no trust, recognition, appreciation, or loyalty to employees.

IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR AN EMPLOYER WHO VALUES & TREATS YOU WELL, KEEP LOOKING….

Yea. And to do this during a pandemic with the billions they make. They say it's a hard decision but the truth is they dont care about you. Just want to grow that bottom line.

Rapid decisions are the best, cannot be questioned. If you wait until the last minute, then any decision is better than none. This is the new millennial management 101 technique. Argue in committee meetings for weeks, no planning, then it's too late, let's pick the best solution out of the pool of bad solutions. Look like a hero, you made a hard decision. And the wheel turns.

McKesson's leadership is scrambling to find the reason for the constant re-orgs.

Here are the reasons-
The criteria to be promoted in McKesson are the following: be a 'privileged' person, know to rub the right buddies, or be lucky to be selected as a part of the new diversity % game.

Performance, people management skill, experience, etc. are not the criteria to be promoted as a Leader!!!

How else a program lead or project lead becomes Sr. Director or even Sr.VP of the org in just 3-5 years! And, all they know is to talk or put up a show in meetings for a short period until they are exposed and the team fails.

If any executive leadership reading this disagree? Go to HR, and ask to check on such promotions happend in the last 10 years and how many are surviving today.
