SPEEA members with less than one year are not retentioned therefore are not part of the R3 pool which are getting hit first. Next is the R2 pool.

For non union positions they lay off the most expensive. There's a lot of level fours and fives who benefited from years of growth and promotions. They always move to cull those folks first, replcae them with level 1 and 2, and refuse to acknowlege the consequences when everyhing falls apart

One goal has been met by Boeing leadership,,,

  1. S. Air Force KC-46 tankers being built by Boeing sit parked at the Paine Field airport in Everett, Wash., on April 7, 2020. Washington state will take the biggest hit with workforce reductions announced by Boeing, which will cut 9,840 jobs before July 31 in a combination of buyouts and involuntary layoffs. (Ted S. For SPEEA, it not only depends on seniority, but also potential and work ethic. The guy/gal that's been stagnant in their job for 6 years and stuck at level 2 would most definitely be chosen to be laid off over the guy/gal that came in as a level 2 out of grad school and has consistently been going above and beyond for the 6 months that they have been here. (I saw this exact situation unfold in my organization)

Generally It’s by seniority date per job code.

@1bio+16cfAEhe and once again you have the copy and paste. You are not only a 3 time tool but you are a 3 time tool with ZERO originality.

Congrats on being the first to be tamed a 3 time tool. We will be on the edge of our seats to see if you can defend your title.

Some job codes might lay-off up to 15 years seniority some job codes could have zero layoffs. For example maybe the janitor job code will have zero layoffs but the painters may go back 10 years. That’s why when someone says they are going back 6 years you know it’s fake news.
