Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

out of cycle compensation

I received 1.5% hike in March (less!) and very less shares at grade 5 with 3 years due to p*ts, now I got revised letter with shares increased to peanuts, I got to know that HR found I was paying less compared to my peers. Anybody experienced this before?

Was yur performance a factor in the yearly compensation review? I hear other companies be even more cut throat in performance managing people out of the company. And then no job. Look at compa ratio as that is the ultimate gauge where you are at with peers. Be happy for extra money.

yes i am with u– has happened to me although after going to HR my mgr tried to explain the disparity and blamed it all on focal tools etc. some politically correct gibberish– bottom line i have been applying for internal lateral jobs- he did ok transfer—hang in there co and jobs are secure except might be stingy on promos and raises going forward.

Yeah - just having a job at intel right now given the circumstances should keep people happy
AMD stocks gone up 75+ per share
Never saw intel stocks going up that high in last 20+ years 😰😰

Just check your compa ratio. If you’re super low, then you’re paid well below your peers.

Complete lack of maturity and awareness with this post. Intel's future is i serious trouble and people's jobs are likely on the line and you are worried about a G5 stock level adjustment. Know your audience and read the room here. My goodness.
