To respond to the below question, nobody knows exactly why she has her own office while other directors have a desk. The favoritism is out of hand.
In the last 4 years, S.B. has been promoted twice without merit while people are still waiting to get promotions.
Her direct reports always complain about her. When she was given 3for a couple months ago, the whole team quit shortly after.
To comment on the favoritism comments- it is true. Why was S.B. the only person at her level allowed in all of the leadership meetings when nobody else on the team was given those opportunities? Not to mention an office and access to an admin? And what was her promotion based on? I thought promotions were based on sales numbers?
The Lee issue did need to surface. Worst "leader" At least John is fair and objective.
They also got sued by TRIANGL.
They should have all been fired when the copyright lawsuits from other swim companies started rolling in.
the fact that someone like Lee could have survived for as long as she did says everything about how screwed up VS is. it was always funny how tons of merchants took the fall for swim when really design shoved their horrible taste down everyones throat and ruined SWIM but Les and his inner circle were either too old man delusional and/or cowardly to say anything. take your pick

There has been a lack of strong/ fair leadership and design direction on this team for years as well as an uncomfortable working environment due to favoritism based on personal relationships and not product knowledge/competency.

Lee Anne Henrico was also very disrespectful, rude and condescending to the merchants who were trying to do their jobs. Nobody was allowed to have an opinion in their own space or even a fact based observation or suggestion.
Remember when the Design leads were in Columbus for Style Review and were too hungover to attend the meetings the next day? Or when they were piss drunk in the middle of the day during another Style Review week in Columbus and facetimed one of their recently promoted cronies in NY during the workday to congratulate her...and the entire office heard? Yeah....they're still in place.
The VP of design is a master manipulator meaning she has mastered the art of manipulating leadership into thinking she knows what she is doing. Clearly sales speak for themselves.
Yes. They need to clean house. Lee, Sarah and their toxic clique needs to go.
