Anybody here who is on furlough had moved on, found or looked for another job, instead of waiting for TransformCo to call you back to work?
And how many of you have they called back? For folks who worked at HE.

Well I got severance. And surprised.... just hoping the company doesn't go under until I'm done collecting...
The DieHard products was an idea hatched years ago, made a pop, went away and then another effort to launch branded stuff; things you might find in a garage. Advance Auto picked up DieHard batteries in a deal made last year (December?). Thing is: Deals like this the kind of scaled business developments/partnerships are taking a LONG time to hit the shelves and realize revenue. Time is not a luxury on their side any longer for other deals they may be working for K or C. They've had a 'for sale' sign on K for over 2 years with no takers. K can sell from the stores to consumers at Hometown or fls....the commercial division needs its own ordering and delivery/service systems due to the scale.
Wait, what? I thought there was to be a big line of DieHard branded non-automotive products. What happened?
KCD is just K now, and the product pipeline is obsolete to non-existent
I'm a HE middle manager in sales....and didn't have any product to sell in late November. Covid is the perfect out for the executive team. Personallu now have 3 job opportunities in the pipeline. KCD is dying a semi quick death. They will sell the name and its purchaser will turn it into junk...a distant memory.
$975K? How much does that work out per BJ and Handy J? When you factor in all the billions Leena's managed to lose it has to be about a billion per, right?
by Labor Day I think? What's the over/under on another copy-paste update?
Waiting on the next furlough update. Not optimistic though, you could see where this train was going even before the furloughs.
$975,000 per person. Nice
Remember that the Three Amigos got million dollar raises this year because they're "key employees"
I got a 10% pay cut from the all mighty Uncle Eddie. At least I'm still working
That stinks about the paycut but the trade-off doesn't sound so bad.
Was not furloughed, but took a 25% pay-cut..... now I do absolutely nothing at work....
I guess we are done with the transformation then.
I've got a hustle going while I wait for them to never call me back. They had no plans to call us back when they tossed our whole department out, they still have no plans to call us back.
For those waiting to get called back in hopes of severance, you're fooling yourself. They aren't going to call you back just to let you go and pay severance. Sears does some pretty insane stuff, but that's different level and they aren't going to do that.
Not like the situation is any different at the stores.
These comments are why we need to get rid of these HE loses. Theres nothing they do that the stores can't handle.
If the VPN lets you in
Working from home call me if u need me
It's really easy work right now. I can't walk away. I just can't!
It's great getting paid to do practically nothing.
Sorry Eddie - we still work for you....waiting for that severance baby!!!
I moved on.
