$150M down the drain for Zedi, thanks to Pedro D’Ascola.

Emerson has so many failed SCADA including OE and now Zedi. They just purchase OSI which comes with another SCADA system, none of which are number #1 or #2.

ESI is world leader in their space. Zedi is a third tier SCADA. Emerson paid twice as much for Zedi with half the revenue of ESI.

Craig did a good acquisition, ESI. Pedro did a lousy acquisition, Zedi.

RAS RTU and Flow Computers were old technologies developed in the 90s. It took forever for the new FB to come out, too little too late. RAS products has no future. RAS leadership from Craig and now Pedro lacked vision and leadership to drive the business. In the first place, they like most Emerson executives are out of touch with customers and markets. They play golf amongst themselves and with impact partners, not with customers.

This once again is untrue. A little something called the “shale gale” generated most of the dollar growth and the lack of liquid products heavily influenced the challenges tied to Craig’s new dream products to this day. Pedro inherited these decisions from Craig.

That’s why the business grew under Craig and steep decline under Pedro.

Craig was in your face SOB. He is decisive. Pedro is an administrator.

The comments recently made about Craig and his time at RAS are not reflective of his leadership nor the results he had a hand in generating. Hence his record was much better at PSS.

And Craig was ‘retired’ (read fired) while Pedro is still merrily enjoying his fat compensation because he has a hold on JN.

Craig got RAS to above $200M and Pedro brought it down to below $100M.

At least with Craig L, there was leadership at RAS. Now there is none. Craig will get in your face. Hence disliked by Farr and other execs. Pedro has no backbone, no direction, no leadership skills, no business acumen, no interpersonal skills, nothing, zilch, nada!!

RAS is a dying business, poorly managed for all these years.

For those still in RAS, get out. No hope with a useless clueless helpless leader.

There is no candor at Emerson. Say what the executives like to hear.

There are some good leaders at Emerson but their hands are tied and their mouths zipped. As an Emerson executive, if you give negative feedback, you are gone in no time. So, these good leaders are frustrated and there is no avenue for them to voice their opinions.

Yep, Pedro is epitome of what’s wrong with Emerson.

RAS is laying off base business employees, Zedi employees and Geofields employees. All three businesses are doing poorly, thanks to mo–nic good-4-nothing leadership.

Emerson pay this site to ensure that it is deleted.

Emerson overall is highly sensitive to bad press right now. DE Shaw is still involved and Auto Sol took a 18% hit this past quarter.
