OK, don't worry and be happy - here it is, 4 weeks of pay, 18 months of COBRA, and faster vesting if you are in the priviledged pool of folks with stock options. Overall, not bad, really...

If you are in non management positions this will be hard to accept - there is not enough incentives but if you are close to your magic retirment number maybe.

Relax and do not worry :-)

While it's somewhat foreboding, don't forget the last song played by the "Teradata Band" at the Global Sales kickoffs each year.... "Highway to Hell!" -Maybe they were trying to tell us something!

This is an insult. I know people laid off a couple years ago who got six months full pay and paid outplacement help. I do understand the company is officially dying now, but really?

That is the US offer, EMEA and APJ have different offers due to local legislation....
