Is anyone going to do any work if you know Friday is your last day?

I'd rather have the freedom to hire faster knowing i dont have to pay someone for years if the business doesnt go as well as anticipated. Economies that require huge severance do not grow or recover fast. If you are good at what you do you should not need a year of severance (or unemployment).
Of course to make sure they don’t get two weeks added to their severance!! For those based in Europe, they get MUCH better severance (sometimes years not weeks). Europeans get what they vote for, strong govts that have ppls backs whereas here we vote for weak govt thats got the back of corporations and not the avg joe! Things won’t change until poor and middle class ppl vote for their economic interests and not based on their “values”!!
