That's it? No more smart remarks or bad comments about the union. They saved ur jobs for at least another year. No one else would hire you. No education and lazy on top of that. We should double ur dues. Be honest guys. No education and probably only a GED.. frontier is the best thing ever happen to you.

Tech's are monitored closer then any other employee within Frontier.. Every second of every day they are logged in they are monitored. Every other position within Frontier could be located anywhere, so thank the Union that WV still has employees sitting in WV. WV is the only State in the Nation that has a solely owned fiber network that covers the entire State, so people talking about WV being low tech don't know what they are talking about. Government has caused the issues you are seeing with broadband. Why would Frontier spend money going into areas where competitors can just use the network for free, if you want it fixed stop making Frontier give away service to other carriers. This myth about employees being paid to much is also ridiculous. The techs you hear about making 100k are the ones working 15 hours a day going out after midnight to get people's service back up. I would guess the people running that mouth are in the bed sleeping, while the techs are climbing up in the woods to fix stolen cables. Just look at the way COVID is being handled. Everyone work from home because it's safe, unless your a tech. How could anyone say anything about techs, when you are sitting at the house.

Tiberous Black, not sure how much you know about the unions in Frontier communications but their sole purpose is to deflect accountability amonst its members and ensure they are not reprimanded or disciplined. With that being said its difficult for any person in management, in any company, to be able to effectively enforce and improve the workforce. Also you are applying stock holders perspective to a management scenario which isnt accurate. Stock holders are holding Senior leadership and the BOD responsible if anything, not low level management. Also if you are one of these supposed stock holders, you should be ashamed of the level of accountability you are allowing the new CEO to accept as nothing has changed for over a year now and he has gone silent.

All problems lie at the feet of management. If you have sh–ty techs and dont hold them accountable, its a management and leadership problem. Management are the ones responsible and have to ability to change the direction. Stockholders dont hold techs accountable, its leadership.

I would still rather say I had management experience, even if it were at this company, than to admit I was a part of the union or for that matter wear a tshirt in support and "solidarity". Which do you think will get you farther in a professional career? You probably have to ask a steward since your not allowed to think on your own either. The world is bigger than this company and this union, I encourage any employee whether union or not to find somewhere better, and at the least a better union.

I agree. Techs are worst employees ever. No access,no one home,dogs in yard,no answer at cbr, unable to locate,gate locked,customer rescheduled. Sound familiar? U just keep showing up and collect a pay check and blame everyone else. I know ur reading this because u found a nice shady spot to park from 1 to 5 PM. Can u think of any more excuses. Sure u can.

Exactly what was said above, I know for a fact that some techs in my area have more education than managers. This company has engineers that dont have a college degree...another fact!!!

Techs more educated than management?? Is that a joke? Techs are the only position at Frontier that DOESNT require a high school diploma. Techs are as stupid as the day is long. Techs ruined Frontier and that is a fact.

Of all the things that this site could be useful for its only ever used to bash unions or management. If thats any indicator about how the company is run than we deserve each other. Welcome to the Slums, we could help, but our bloated bureaucracy wont allow that. Our systems are old and outdated just like the cable we pretend to service and we have craft workers (not all) that can only be relied on for a routine morning dump in the john.
