I just want to get out of this place - hopefully with some kind of severance for my ten years. If I could volunteer, I would. And to think I used to like working here.

Was a Store Manager in Nashville District one - I quit in 2019 - IT WAS HELL (The foolishness that flowed downhill, the massive cutting, no overtime BUT expectations were raised..) I couldn't be happier or more content now. Good luck..
They love getting rid of you when you are over 50 by all means possible!
Not only hoping to get laid off, but planning on instigating a racial trigger (I'm African American) against me, ket it on the smartphone, and put it out to the world. Layoff AND and big BLM payday. Life is good.
