I looked at the data for scheduled aircraft hours (airborne) for June 2020 and it was 75% less than 2019. This excludes cargo aircraft but it shows the decline in air travel worldwide. Airborne hours determine maintenance and spare parts for engines on aircraft. A moneymaker for the Aviation unit. No wonder Aviation is losing billions right now. Not to mention the major reduction in airplane production. The airlines aren't making the money to purchase new jets. It might be years before the stock breaks the $10 barrier.

Schenactady?? Get rid off all of the useless "Technical Product Managers" in Atlanta first. Everytime I come to that office they are working on a bunch of never ending projects and coming up with more useless ideas. Larry should just end the Digital Thread c-ap they are spreading across power and aviation. GE Power and Aviation has no need for AI...yes they are blowing millions on useless projects every year. Also why do we have so many UX designers here??? You can get these tech employees overseas for 1/3 of the cost and they will deliver 15 times faster.

If anything I expect Atlanta to get hit the hardest. Its the biggest political sh–show in this entire company. GE Power can probably function the same without 60% of the Atlanta employees. Most of the projects will never be delivered.

What did 301 do to deserve a “good job?” I must have missed it. The B.A. and P negotiated away our ability to bump into entry level jobs during lay offs. 301 lowered our job security, except for a family member and a few lucky others, of course, because nepotism. THE COMPANY brought in work, 301 didn’t do shiz, THE COMPANY saved the T rate jobs while 301 gave them away. Nice try though. Gaslighting works on the weak minds. We see 301 for what it is. Silver bracelets are gonna look real pretty.
