So local 301 has a board meeting yesterday, and very little chatter today about it. Enough Generator work to keep everyone busy thru March 2022, steam work through next spring of 2021. Why isn’t this being blasted through out our membership? Adding head count back At R and D, at a higher rate than the job held before!! This is all positives for our membership, yet crickets! Oh but what is being chattered by some, the fact we are going to put a person on the slate to be a treasure, who has been reprimanded by GE for money issues, and was already removed from elected office for other issues!! Yup thats right, keep the good ole boy network pumping strong !! Screw all you honest hard working folks, we need to cater to those less than stellar members of our union!! Lets see how long this post is left up, no names, but those paying attention know exactly whats being talked about!! INTEGRITY AT ITS HIGHEST EVER LEVEL!!

No layoffs the great onion 301 will be sure to have job security for the future of Schenectady and great healthcare and an awesome retirement package for those looser cry babies called T Rates. Scared because most of them are going back making. $12 an hr
You want to talk about job security? Let’s talk. Material handler’s and inventory control employees are now being treated AND GOING TO BE PAID as if they are skilled trades employees. Thank you, Local P. You managed to secure your family member’s position nicely, with a decent pay raise as an added bonus. As for the men and women who had to earn their titles as tradesmen, as well as the men and women who earned their seniority, what did they get? Did they get job security...NOPE, they got a big FCK U. They got the opposite of job security. In order to secure P’s family member’s job the Local P made it so that employees with higher seniority can no longer bump into those entry level positions should lay offs happen. Like a good little B.A. he went along with what P said (as always) and did as he was told. Convenient coincidence or nepotism? This right here, folks, is the fcking definition of NEPOTISM. Protect family, fck the rest. Hey P, plea deals are never as sweet, it’s coming, everyone knows.

Why does it seem like this BS never ends? Those of us that actually pay attention, are still waiting for the final report on the state and federal investigations of Local 301, National gave the local a BS report on their investigation, and next to nothing has been done with those orders. We have officers that have no understanding of what their jobs are, so they don't know what they are supposed to be doing, day in day out! The majority, and proven by some comments here, think that everything is peachy with 301, because they have there heads berried so far up the BA's or Presidents a–, they cant see the reality. The company is in rough shape, and the theory of they have the right to mismanage all they want and we sit and watch, is NOT how you look out for the memberships jobs and futures! Trying to tell the members that now its time to honestly work every shift, after spending years telling people the exact opposite, does nothing for your credibility! We have a member who is basically a crook, and he supposedly has such incriminating evidence against the old BA, the new BA, the current President, that even National has allowed this guy to be on a National committee, and now we are learning they want to make him the locals treasurer? How does that even make any sense to the stupidest of any members? A guy that cant be trusted with money or policy, handling our memberships policy and money? Seriously, I dont care who you are, that cant sound like even the slightest bit of a smart idea!!!! I wish the feds and state would swoop in before the end of this month and clean house, National steps in and sets up a management team until elections can be held! The only way obviously the majority is gonna wake up and see the glaring truth, is when many are led out in cuffs and the documents laid out for all to clearly see and read!!! The day of reckoning has come, lets rip the trauma dressing off and start fixing the huge wound!!!! I guess the old ABA and VP where right all along, and sadly not enough people remember the words they had been speaking!!!
The V.P. is the only one who will give you the truth, which is why the others keep him out of as much “Union business” as they possibly can. It’s why they trash his reputation as much as they can. The V.P. was against that agreement that ruined us, he didn’t sign it, but the P led everyone to believe he did. Manipulation and lies. Make no mistake, the P is the puppet master and the strings are tightly attached to B.A. Let them point fingers and place blame for now, the right people know what’s going on. They’ll be taking out the trash soon enough.

I for one do not believe a single word that any of our union representation tells us. They have all lied before and continue to do so, for those not pleased with the unions handling of things i highly recommend having your union dues donated to a charity instead of paying those fools to do nothing!!! Its pretty sad the ones you're suppose to trust, you can't.

Well said. It’s been a sad joke for years. Times up. Truth is coming out soon and nobody will be able to stop it. Stay patient, being thorough and precise takes time.
I wouldnt exactly say 26 generators and 1 steam job is a lot of work. There's no communication from the hall unless the business agent wants to tell folks about a garage sale his wife is having. I believe I know who you speak of when you say the person had ge money issues. There's layoffs coming or else management would have retracted their letter put out a few months ago, and they've already mentioned it to the media

Yeah the last layoff management said we have enough work for a year and a half. Then 3 months later a big reduction in our union members. The smart ones didn’t come back from the call backs. Sounds like history is about to repeat its self again SOON.
Recalling head count is not the same as "adding". Its all smoke and mirrors so relatives of your board members could negotiate a higher pay rate for family members. That's why the hall isn't yelling it from the rooftops. Their called secrets for a reason.
