Will we be able to re-apply for our old jobs once all the restrictions are removed and numbers of visitors increase once again?

Respect yourself enough not to reapply.
Take your talents and go elsewhere. Go someplace where you will be appreciated, valued and paid what you're worth. It's "easier" to reapply and stay, but you won't get the same pay... working harder for less.
SeaWorld has been on a downward slope for a long time.
For lower pay, changed benefits, most likely part time not fulltime, changed policies, so many other reasons ...why go back? It's not the same company.
It was great while it lasted. I will miss it.

Well thats the fun thing. If they can do some sort of mental gymnastics that the position posted is not the same as what someone furloughed/laid off had... then they can fill it at a lower rate without any kind of issue. Kinda like the one news story down here that had a merch supervisor spot.. while they were looking for merch sups but he was still furloughed. They claimed it was for a different role. From all my time hanging around supervisors I thought sups were sups but ok.
The really fun thing will be if they ever do need spots for people they let go permanently... they should have to contact those who were let go before they post again and offer people their jobs back. At least within a certain time frame anyways. I remember someone in the corporate point of sale team who was axed (while they were out on medical leave no less), then when they got approval for the spot again they had to offer it to the same guy they let go and he came back. SO thats fun.
Yes, you can re-apply. In one of the articles I read it said that furloughed ambassadors were welcome to apply for any open positions. Still don't understand why people are furloughed when there are open positions.
Why would you? I’d rather set myself on fire then return to that dump.
